Susan Leibovitz Steinman

Susan Leibovitz Steinman recieved her MFA in High Distinction in Sculpture at California College of Art, Oakland/San Francisco. Based in California, she creates large scale public installations with multiple stakeholder participation to address ecological, social and economic concerns and community-voiced needs. She has been awarded the National Park Service Art & Community Landscapes residency as well as the San Francisco Potrero Nuevo Fund Prize. She is the co-founder and a director of WEAD (Women Environmental Artists Directory) and the founder and editor of WEAD Magazine.
