Steven Kin

Steven Kin is a non-binary Chinese American artist based in Detroit. They make functional ceramic work based on the process of creating and firing ceramics and are currently focused on making pots based on the Asian American diaspora. Most of their work is fired in soda and wood-fired atmospheres. Steven went to school at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, graduating in 2019 with a BFA in ceramics and a minor in product design.
