Sophie Aguilera Lester

Sophie Aguilera Lester (London, 1984) is a Spanish artist based in Barcelona. She has participated in a number of exhibitions nationally and internationally. In 2018 she was invited to represent Spain at the European Ceramic Context Biennale, on the Danish island of Bornholm. In 2019 she was awarded the Premio Nacional de Cerámica as the best emerging artist at the Asociación Española de Ciudades de la Cerámica (AeCC). Sophie Aguilera was selected in 2019 as a resident artist at the Archie Bray Foundation.
