Shawn S. Spangler

Shawn Spangler holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Alfred University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pennsylvania State University. His work draws inspiration from historical artifacts and technology, raising questions concerning authorship and collaboration. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, a founding member of the artist collective Objective Clay, and a member of ArtAxis and the International Academy of Ceramics.
