Peter Jadoonath

Peter Jadoonath is a teaching artist at Northern Clay Center and maintains a studio in Shafer, Minnesota. Constructing functional, narrative pottery with a sculptural presence is his focus. Peter says, “My intent is to create pots that are drawings and drawings that are pots”. Peter earned a BFA from Bemidji State University in Minnesota and has been the recipient of several honors including a Jerome Foundation Emerging Artist Project Grant, the Red Wing Pottery Collectors Society award,  East Central Regional Artist Award, and a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant.
