Gail Kendall

Gail Kendall is a potter, author, scholar and Emeritus Professor of Art. University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her works are “influenced by European earthenware pottery and porcelain traditions from the 13th through the 18th centuries.” She uses “terracotta and low-fired technologies as symbols of her heritage.” She exhibits her work and teaches workshops nationally and internationally.  In 2009, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Teaching and Research from the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts.
