
Brian Vu is an interdisciplinary artist born in Dallas, Texas. Brian holds an MFA in ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BA in ceramics and contemporary dance from Bennington College. He has exhibited in group and solo shows nationally in United States at: David Salkin Creative in Chicago, Illinois, G1 Exhibition Space in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, USDAN Gallery at Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont, Locust Projects in Miami, Florida, BSWING in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cranbrook Art Museum in Detroit, Michigan, and Houston Center for Contemporary Craft in Houston, Texas. He has been awarded fellowships and completed residencies from: Locust Projects, Ox-Bow School of Art and Artists’ Residency, Woodbury Foundation Residency for Bennington College Alumni, and Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. Brian will be the incoming artist-in-residence at Anderson Ranch Fall 2020 and a long-term artist-in-residence at Pottery Northwest starting Winter 2021.
