Wayne Higby

Wayne Higby is an internationally recognized artist known for his deptictions of the American landscape using tile, vessels, sculpture and installation. Higby is a professor and the Robert C. Turner Chair of Ceramic Art at the New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred University, and the Director and Chief Curator of the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum at Alfred University. He has shown work nationally and internationally and serves as an Honorary Professor of Art at Shanghai University and the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute.
