We’re thrilled to share that Joshua Wong has joined Studio Potter as our new development and membership manager!
Joshua’s journey with Studio Potter began as a reader, flipping through back issues at a local community studio. His connection deepened when he became a recipient of our Grants for Apprenticeship program, and now we’re honored to welcome him as a staff member. His path from apprentice to team member is a reflection of the very mission Studio Potter holds dear: to support and uplift the ceramic community at every stage of growth.
Joshua is a potter from the coast of California who apprenticed with Naysan McIlhargey at Miami Valley Pottery. Outside of the studio, he enjoys trying new restaurants, making coffee, and baking pastries – a thoughtful, creative spirit through and through.
While we’re still in the final stages of migrating content and data from our recently crashed server, Joshua’s arrival is a bright spot in a moment of technical disruption. His presence brings renewed energy and focus to our efforts in strengthening member engagement, growing support, and stewarding the future of Studio Potter.
Please join us in welcoming Joshua to the team. We’re so glad to have him aboard!
Warmly,
The Studio Potter Team
